AMMAN — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Tuesday received Syrian Minister of

Transport Yaroub Badr and Turkish Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloglu, in the

presence of Minister of Transport Nidal Qatamin.

The meeting followed a tripartite ministerial session held earlier in Amman, aiming at

advancing regional cooperation in land and maritime transport, trade, logistics, and railway

connectivity, the public service broadcaster Al Mamlaka reported.

The meeting stressed the importance of activating existing agreements and establishing

clear mechanisms to implement joint projects, while also highlighting the need to expand

the exchange of expertise across transport sectors to serve shared economic interests.

Earlier in the day, the joint ministerial committee for transport cooperation between Jordan,

Syria, and Turkey convened in the capital, bringing together public and private sector

representatives, as well as logistics experts.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a tripartite memorandum of understanding

(MoU) aimed at enhancing coordination and integration in the transport sector among the

three countries
