Amman Now – In a step reflecting continuity and renewal within the Latin community, Jack Hattar has been appointed Mukhtar of the community in Jericho by the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley.
The appointment follows the legacy of the late Awni Hattar, who served as Mukhtar for years and left a clear mark through his dedication and service to the community.
Father Hanna, priest of the Latin community in Madaba, extended his congratulations to Hattar, wishing him success in his new role and emphasizing the importance of strengthening unity and cooperation among community members.
The Latin community in Jericho expressed its aspiration for a new phase marked by collective work, building on past achievements and further strengthening its presence within society.
