Amman Now _ Mövenpick Resort Petra has won the Excellence Award in Occupational Health and Safety for the 2024–2025 cycle at all three levels. The award is granted annually by the Social Security Corporation to establishments distinguished in implementing occupational safety and health standards.
This recognition followed a comprehensive evaluation of participating establishments in the hotels and restaurants sector, where the resort stood out for its compliance with applicable legislation and its adoption of best practices to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
The Corporation held an awards ceremony under the patronage of the Jordanian Ministry of Labour on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Crowne Plaza Amman, attended by representatives of the winning establishments, as well as occupational safety and health supervisors and committee members.
The award was received on behalf of the resort by its General Manager, Abdulrabbeh Al-Tuwaisi, who stated that this achievement reflects the commitment of the management and staff to upholding the highest standards of occupational safety and enhancing the work environment in line with best practices in the tourism sector.
